What does "chq transfer cr_ops" mean?

    Hi,

    I'm actually asking this question on behalf of my brother so I can't give much detail.

    He has/had a BOI bank account that was closed about 10 years ago, it at least he thought it was. He received a statement today that showed "chq transfer cr_ops" of €115, what does this mean?

    If he received this statement from Bank of Ireland, there should be a number on the statement that you would be able to call to confirm what this is.
