Brands with pre installed /native voice recorder app

I currently have a Samsung which has its own version of the voice recorder app (which was pre-installed when you get the phone)

It is mainly used for interviews etc .

Just wondering what other phones come with their own voice recorder apps.

Or is there any phone that would be especially good for such a function.

I was thinking that one pre -installed by the manufacturer would be the best quality for that phone. I'm open to correction though?

Unlikely. They're all going to be accessing the same hardware through the Android layer. It's conceivably possible that a manufacturer provides a direct-line to their hardware for their own app, which would allow for the potential for better results, but the effort would substantially outweigh any slight benefits.

Since you already have a sample device, why not just test it? Download any of the popular recording apps and compare it to the built-in one. I'm don't think you'll notice any discernable difference.

If the google play apps are as good as Samsung's own , then happy days .
