We can’t ignore scientific and medical evidence and advice because some people living with fragile mental health may find the advice too difficult to cope with.
If we decide that people suffering mental health problems are our national priority and we need to run the country based on what’s best for them then we wouldn’t exist as an independent country after too long.
We can’t make people suffering with cancer or any other disease our national priority either.
Irish cancer patients aren’t getting their treatment properly now either.
I’m interested as to why the OP thinks that one group should be prioritised over all the others?
What’s best for the national interest right now is that everyone stays at home as much as possible in order to stop the spread of a deadly virus.
What medical/scientific evidence has the OP got that contradicts that?
