I never understood it, surely CAB could seize everything, every day of every week and they'd never be able to provide the proof to recover the goods.

Forget being given special ethnic status. I think the vast majority of decent, law abiding people would agree with me in saying these people are Ireland's shame. A scourge and a cancer who contribute absolutely nothing to our country.

I always thought the CAB operated on a seize first, explain later approach.

If you can prove your assets are legitimate, fine, if not, we keep them.

Agree with other posters, but there may be more going on than we realise, hopefully that is the case, but I am dubious to say the least of it.
