New Three prepay sim not receiving calls

Hi - I just put a new Three sim card into a phone. It can dial numbers no problem, but when the new sim number is phoned, the caller is told that the number is not in service. Anyone know how to resolve this without going to a shop or waiting 20 minutes on the phone for them? Their chat option is offline too..
