Some great noms there but gonna go with my own boy, the best part of the show that wasn't Johnny Drama - Ari Gold. Classic and hysterical character.

I appreciate that there is 12 nominiations, allowing ASLB to post all the pictures in a pleasing regular rectangular shape!

I nearly had a panic attack at 1.55 today when I thought a 13th one had come in, but thankfully it was just one of those Secondchance Showdowns... :D

I'm gonna hold off voting for a bit. There's no point in us all just voting for our own nomination so I'm going to see how the wind blows for a bit.

a vote for Frankie Bergstein, kudos to whoever nominated her!!!

Ari Gold for me. I only knew 3 or 4 of the nominees but he’d be high up in any list. Great character stealing the comedy kudos in a great show.

    Might rewatch that actually.

    Voting Sam from Cheers.

    Great character

Doberman from The Phil Silvers Show (Seargent Bilko).
He was a terrible actor with bad delivery and timing but somehow he was also one of the funniest sitcom characters ever.

Exsqueeze me I'm voting Mindy, funny lead character who could spark with all the supporting cast

Full boxset is on Sky On Demand as an FYI... just er... avoid the movie :(

Actually 30 Rock appears to be there too, may give that a whirl.

I'm wondering who got three nominations, I'm also half tempted to vote for someone other than my nomination now that I see their name up there.

There are some people who I was sure would get nominated but didn't, like Marty Crane for instance.

I'm going to let my other half vote in this one so that I don't just vote for my own nomination.

A Vote for Burt Macklin - FBI!

Andy Dwyer - Parks and Rec, Best Character in the show after Ron

    Hast to be Charlie Harper
Two and a half men was the best sitcom going for a few years. Nothing comes close to it nowadays

    Match 1

Will the B*** from Apt 23 prevail or get a foot in the ass from everyone's favourite '70s Dad?

Chloe (Don't Trust The B**** In Apartment 23)
    Zz1gSJ9l.jpg

    vs

    Red Forman (That '70s Show)

First to 4 votes wins or most votes after 45 minutes

    Neither. Both those shows sucked

I'll vote for Tobias Funke please.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,497 ✭✭✭Yester

My "other half" vores for Andy.

Glad to see some love for Don't Trust the B**** in Apt 23 there, but Chloe had a tough competitor in Red Forman who wins the first match

    Match 2

Is Reno 911!'s super slut too niche a character to be any match for the King of Queen's shouty senior citizen...

Arthur Spooner (The King of Queens)
    nuTmvR2l.jpg

    vs

    Deputy Clementine Johnson (Reno 911!)

Aurtur Spooner. Never even heard of the other one. Jerry Stiller is hilarious but even funnier as Georges dad in Seinfeld

Well, well, well, a last minute show of support for Johnson leaves us with a 2-2 tie. I'm a big Wendi McLendon-Covey fan, so I'm breaking the tie and sending Deputy Clementine Johnson through to Round 2 in the hopes Reno 911! might find a fan base here in the meantime... :D

    Match 3

Are you more a fan of the Bigmouthed Bada$$ Baseballer or Malcolm's Bumbling Breaking Bad Dad...

    Kenny Powers (Eastbound & Down)
    R3PtdTNl.jpg

    vs

Hal Wilkerson (Malcolm In The Middle)

Hal of course. His roller skating scene alone makes him a winner
