    Hi there,

    I'm a BOI customer and I would like to set up a savings account that I can transfer funds to and remove if need be without setting up a direct debit.

    Is there such a thing as having a savings account that is free or is there a cost associated with having a savings account?

    Thanks for your post. 

    If you hold a current account with us you could apply for a Demand Deposit Account. This account type allows transfers to and from your current account on demand. There is no charge for this account type and you can find more information here
