money lost in lodgement machine

    ently lodged money in outside pass machine into son's account for him returned some of the money and said on screen - money safe and contact member of staff- what do I do as its Friday and not open till Monday, probably wont be working over weekend till staff in on Monday. he wont loose his money will he? surely they can track it's his money?. what do you think. tried to ring a number available on line but no help available till Monday.

    Very sorry to hear this has been your experience with us. If the LATM has retained the funds in the machine they would be safe and applied to the account. The LATM will be checked on Monday morning by a member of the branch staff and the funds credited to the account shortly after.
