Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice on modem for 3 SIM

    Hi,

We're in a new housing estate with no broadband, and none coming soon. Imagine doesn't reach us either.
Up until now we've had a 3 sim, E20 a month unlimited data, in an old phone and we hotspot off that. It actually works great. But that phone has now packed in. We still have the sim though.
No point buying a phone to hotspot. So we need a modem to take the sim. Any advice?

    Thanks.

Huawei's are generally very stable in my experience. Look at a B593, E5186 or B525 and you'll be happy out.

If its going to be in place for quite some time (as you suggest) id look at mounting one of these https://mikrotik.com/product/sxt_4g_kit up on the chimney, cabling it down and having a standard wifi cable router in the house, you'll get faster speeds and more reliable coverage.

I bought a tp link mr600 in March for use with a gomo SIM card. To cut a long story short, I’ve switched back to Vodafone fixed broadband and will be looking to return the router to amazon. Would you be interested?

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Got sorted with a Huawei B311 for the time being. That should do that job.
