Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vodafone sales experience

I rang up vodafone earlier inquiring about joining them as my contract with Eir is over and they wouldn't offer me a new deal.

Call center was based in India and I ended up talking to someone who was pretty rude, not only that he told me misinformation that I couldn't keep my home phone number if I switched to vodafone because "I'm on copper wire connection". I told him I switched to vodafone in the past and this wasn't an issue but he insisted. I told him I had to cancel the order and he had no problem in doing so, zero resistance.

In the end I got a good deal off pure telecom. Obviously a bad experience, my only question is how does Vodafone get away with offering such horrible support and sales reps who give out misinformation, how many others must get turned off by such experiences. I try to be as nice as possible when dealing with people on the phone because I've worked on the other end and today was no different but the whole experience was just a joke.
