I love chris, but randy is iconic

Randy marsh for 2 days before the day after tomorrow..... That's Today!

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,126 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Randy has been great for me but he sort of died the last two seasons he's just not funny anymore

Chris is good but he's not good enough to beat Randy

Randy for me damn this was a difficult one

Guitar hero episode Randy playing Kansas for the kids still makes me laugh old school Randy wins Hipster Weed Farmer doesn't

Has to be Randy Marsh for me - best overall character of either show. Shame Chris came up against him here as he probably deserves to survive a bit longer in the tournament.

    My sentiments exactly re: Randy.

He just has to progress here.

    Randy Marsh, no quibbles.

Too many classic moments, he has almost become the central character of the show as the seasons progressed. It started out all about the boys, but it's become the Randy show to a degree. Many Randy-centric episodes, even down to the latest Tegridy Farms plots.

Agree with above poster, his Kansas guitar moment was brilliant.

Randy progresses. We'll kick off Round 2 later on this evening and it will have a bit of a kicker as promised. See you then hopefully :)

We are upping the ante to 5 votes here. In this round however, you may use a Double Jeopardy vote. Your Double Jeopardy vote will count double but may only be used once in this round, so choose wisely when you play it. Let's get on with the first bout.

It's a family affair to start us off. Grandson vs Grandad.

    Stewie, no contest

Carter because he's just a better character. Not a big fan of the talking baby.

His flamboyant homosexuality moments are a hoot

Carter. He was down right evil, funny and even mocked his voice acting sounding like other characters.

Stewie went from super evil at the start of the show to just being a camp troll

Stewie. Best character bar none in Family Guy imo

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

2-2. Forgot to mention that it's 45min time limit this round.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,390 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Stewie, he’s great in the early seasons and the evil baby character is something original.

  • Registered Users Posts: 113 ✭✭jimmymack

Carter, to break the deadlock and send one of the big guns out early.

    South Park all the way!

    Edit: Too slow haha

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,503 ✭✭✭✭Also Starring LeVar Burton

Can the Double Jeopardy be used at any point, or do you have to state it at the same time as your vote?

Not saying I want to use mine right now, just, er, asking for a friend.

Your vote was cast just at literally the last minute so it counts. It's a tie. It's now my call. Stewie is unreal. I love him. I think he's one of the best on it. But Carter is such an amazing megalomaniac yet still curmudgeonly. I think Stewie is more iconic obviously and I do love him but I actually think pound for pound I enjoy Carter more.

    Carter wins.

Stevie has been excellent throughout and doubles up well with Brian. He gets the vote.

Carter is also great but not great enough.

Must be used before the match time limit expires. Once used, can't be taken back. Can be subsequently applied following a vote.

A giant and possible favourite has fallen early here! Another could well bite the dust here. Two addicts go head to kinda head.

Glen! Towelie gets very tedious after a while

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,390 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Towelie gets my vote, I found Quagmire quite grating after a couple of seasons but a cartoon towel who loves to get high is the perfect level of absurd. He had some great episodes too.

Towelie. Funny joke spread thin so it works. Quagmire's one joke over and over again is dragging the arse out of it

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,503 ✭✭✭✭Also Starring LeVar Burton

Towelie, is much more bearable than Quagmire the sex pest.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,141 ✭✭✭Gru

Towelie has to win here. Actually improved over the seasons into a funny character.

Quagmire was really funny in earlier seasons but like Brian was turned into a more **** character.
