Petrol power washer cutting out

Hi, I have a petrol power washer, will only start if water is off and it only stays running if you keep the trigger pulled on the lance. Once you release it the motor comes under pressure and cuts out. Any idea what the issue is?

Unloader valve is not working, you will need to replace it.
