Hi all,

Would really like a steer here. I bought a 13 year old house and the garden has never been worked on. Full of weeds and the like. I would like a nice lawn. How do I go about it?

Do I dig the entire top layer up and replace with top soil? I willing to use roll out grass if that’s useful. I don’t really want to use a killer as I would like to grow some veg or herbs with my young daughter.
