One thing to say about some of the acts like Jan Terri and Mark Gormley is that they are making their music and videos on a shoestring budget and most likely funding themselves.

The big names like Nicki Minaj, Rihanna etc have access to the best studios and equiptment, vocal coaches, session musicians and are getting wedges of cash thrown at them and they still manage to turn out absolute tripe.

The big names get hundreds of thousands of streams, millions of views and tons of air time so whether its tripe or not they are still making sh!t loads of money which is all that matters
