    Hey guys,

    My wife's permanent retainer broke, and she thinks that all the work the braces have done is becoming undone. As the dentists aren't open, and she lost her retainer a little bit before lockdown, she's thinking of using this crowd to make her a new plastic retainer.

    Has anyone any experience with them or are there other providers of that kind of service? Her orthodontist isn't being very helpful.

    There is zero information about that company on their site. I’d be weary.

    Call/email the ortho clinic, they may not be open but you may be able to get advice.

    Your wifes orthodontist will be open for emmergencies, give them a call. It takes me about 2 years teach a dental student to take a basic impression properly. The chances you would take an impression to make anything useful is zero....this DIY dentistry thing is a scam.
