Discount on a new house

    Hi

    Currently at the final stages of buying a new house, we have deposits paid, contracts signed etc, just waiting on the house which has been delayed for a couple of months due to Covid.
    Like a lot of people our situation has changed and we more than likely won't be able to proceed unless we can get a discount on the house, we have a clause in our contract that if the bank refuse the loan we get our deposit back.
    I'm wondering is anyone else in the process of trying to negotiate a discount on a new house?

    No harm trying to negotiate then?
