GoMo - Charged for call to US that I didn't make

    Anybody else get charged for a call to the US that they did not engage in? Got a nice half hour call added to my bill that never happened and I am being told that tough, its a valid call on their end as its linked to my sim.

    Nobody had access to the phone at the time of the alleged call.

    I didnt make it.

    A quick google of the number shows that the number itself has been attributed to unwanted bills for other people so some form of scam. Is it like them damn premium texts that come in that can be stopped?

    Anything I can do or do I just have to suck it up and pay?

    Be interesting to see the actual USA number and see if anyone else got stung!

    Could always try a complaint to ComReg and see how they handle it.

    Did you have any conference calls/zoom meetings/webinars at the time?

    It is listed as the number on quite a few zoom online sessions.

    op did you join a zoom meeting? sounds like you didnt dial the local number, but the US one.

    I see. That would at least make some sort of sense. I must double check what day and time I was on the one work zoom I've had to to do but looks as though that could check out . Much rather that outcome compared to a scam of sorts. At least it's a plausible explanation
