Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What are the plans and time frame for electric Ireland taking PV generated electricity from domestic households and exporting to the grid?

    Hi Arklow10,

There is currently a pilot scheme in effect - we must advise however that it is not open to new members as of 2014 (the link includes information in relation to ESB Networks also).

    Kind regards,
    Una

    Hi, Una.
I know the current pilot scheme is closed since 2014.
, but I want to know when is it opening up again?
Under EU regulations all demestic meters have to be 2 way by January 2021.
Is there any update on this meter replacement?
Can I request that my meter is put on a "to do now" list as I am wasting money by giving it to the grid for free.
    Kindest regards.

    Hi Rory,

We do not have that information, however the dedicated Home Energy Services team may have an idea.

Their contact details are towards the end of this page on the Electric Ireland website. The quickest way to speak with them is by telephone or chat.

    Kind regards,
    Una
