Addison's Disease - JFK had that.

Symptoms generally come on slowly and may include weight loss.

    I definitely don't have it.

Adrenal cortex failure. It’s not that very rare or mysterious.
My cousin got it when he was about 20, really bad, people used to take the piss and say he was on the sunbeds as his skin colour changed so much. My mum was the one who suggested it could be Addison's (she was a nurse for about 30 years) He has huge issues with his hands unfortunately.

I’ve been on plenty of steroid drips in my life, hospitals are well used to that, but of course measuring steroid replacement accurately is important in Addisons.

Jane Austin famously died of it, diagnosed posthumously by experts in the field.

Just reminded me, waiting on a private appointment for one of the smallies. Must check if it’s affected by this.

Not much point in the government buying up access to the private hospitals and not using them.

To be fair. What are the hospitals supposed to do?

Not much point in the government buying up access to the private hospitals and not using them.

It was merely an emergency resource that thankfully wasn’t needed. Time to start using some of them for other purposes, and redesignating again if necessary.

I think there is a plan for urgent appointments to start going ahead quite soon though?

I have zero access to my private consultants, fortunately not needed currently. The great knee man I found has now gone back to his native Spain to work as he had none here other than his research fellowship.

These scientists are great at advising how to lock down........not so good at advising how to get out of it!

Every country in the world is trying to scale it up...we do a comparably really good job on testing volumes...it takes time there are shortages of kits, reagents, and capacity all over the world.

Do you know where we could pick a couple of million of these up? Are they on wish? Or AliExpress?
