    So you basically just don’t engage in any way with someone who might possibly be racially different to oneself. No engagement, no offence taken.

    The 2 examples of subtle racism would be taken as compliments by many people, what an idiot. And I say idiot based on his acting like an idiot. Not his race

    I genuinely have complimented people on their english being amazing when it wasn't their first language, am I now racist?

    Jeez, my friend the ginger was utterly tormented in India with feckers coming up to her and touching her hair.

    They were just curious and there might have been a superstitious 'good luck' thing to it.

    So is it racist too even if you have something nice to say to someone? Like saying you like their hair?

    Why do they keep saying “black lives matter”........surely all lives matter?

    I think it’s in the context of USA where African Americans for one reason or another find themselves being killed more often than White people in their hands.

    Jeezus - they'd be looking for Marco, the Italian-looking bloke.

    Marco's examples are self-indulgent to be honest and not examples of racism.

    For example, an Irish red head will get comments from many foreigners on their hair.

    For example, an Irish person will get comments about their accent.

    Unless he is being abused and/or denied services/jobs based on his skin colour, that is not racism in my opinion.
    Maybe annoying to a sensitive soul, but not racism.

    Marco takes offence if:
    people are impressed that his great english isnt his first language;
    people are impressed with his hair; and
    if people walk into his salon and dont correctly guess who he is.

    Oh boy. You ain't seen anything yet when it comes to racism. Wait till there is a second wave of Covid brought in by Charlie Flanagan's direct provision crowd

    Marco will be greatly offended if he's cut off.
