I was in a beach bar in Turkey and met a girl from Cabra. We were drinking cocktails and I asked her out on a date. I was 28.
She said "Er, do you know Im 16?"

Me: :eek: Feck.

This 16 year old was in a bikini and drinking cocktails and I honestly thought she was 19+.

I am not condoning what this guy did, but this whole "grooming" of a 14 year old is really misplaced. She was 14, she wasn't 8. She met him after the mother found out.

That whole topic was really badly executed.

Exactly, its a big difference when it's a kid being groomed and the guy knows her age, to some 14 year old dolled up and out in town that looks 22 ....


Not condoning it btw, just lines need to be drawn, not just call them all peadophiles....
