I wonder is there some kind of rivalry between the Moore Street traders and the Grafton Street ones. I mean you'd much prefer to be selling bunches of flowers for a tenner in the shadow of a five star hotel than selling bunches of browned bananas for 2 euro outside some African wig shop.

He said he chose to close ..he clearly had no choice....but why should a dunnes which doesn't sell food be allowed to stay open?

Could these shops not have just bought in bread to sell and therefore became essential?

He could send the heads of 3 daffodils to the local supermarket as a warning so to speak.

Or he could place 3 Dandelions under their pillow as a calling card sotospeak....

Ecuador is the world’s foremost supplier of roses. They can grow them around all year round. A lot of planes out of Quito are carrying cargoes of rose stems for supply all over de planet.

    I totally agree.
But do you think a dunnes that doesn't sell food should be allowed to be open?

I'd say they have in hand sanitizer or something to get around it would be my guess...
