I was in Aldi the other day and there was a mob around the section where they were selling their special buy clothes. Knock off crocs and maxi dresses are a real hit!

Is a sandwich a meal caller?

Does anybody today actually understand the point that this clothes shop owner is actually making???

Its a pity Liveline isnt on after 5pm. Maybe with a large scotch I might bend my head around his logic.

I am making my old jocks into face masks.

On second thoughts I should probably have washed them first though.

    Penneys INCREDIBLE SUCCESS STORY.

    ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,229 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Penney's employees I'd say they are glad of the break...the crap they have to deal with in that shop.
People just dump the clothes everywhere would wreck your head.

What are the shoplifters doing?!? I'm surprised one of them hasn't rang into complain

Why don't Penney's start selling food? Problem solved.

There used to be a shop in Athenry years ago that sold everything from rat traps, to hens feed, nappies, bread, fuses, you name it. And you could get a pint while you waited for your stuff. The shop was so small, only a couple of people would fit in it at one time.

I don't think its still there but if shops diversified, they could operate.

Theres a halting site next to the retail park in Limerick where Dunnes are.

There always a rake of little traveller kids running amock trying to annoy the security guards in there.

But I assume they are perfectly behaved during this pandemic.
