Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just moved into house before lock down and got most stuff done except plumbing

Not any emergencies just a few things.

Can plumbers do house calls for non emergency work or does it depend on the individual plumber?

Few things we want sorted but nothing that cannot wait just want to see if plumbers are doing house calls

No. Essential work is emergency repair and maintenance. For example I can repair or replace your broken electric shower but I cannot install one from scratch. You can get your gas boiler repaired or replaced but you cannot get a whole new heating system installed.

Some plumbers aren't allowed to do work others aren't. Same rule applies to all plumbers. If things differ from plumber it's because some are following the requirements & others are ignoring them
