Hi all, I am planning to stay a night in Portsmouth, Hampshire before the end of the year and was wondering what would be the best way to fly over, stay the night, and fly back then to Dublin? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Flybe gone bust so that's not an option any more.

Bristol also an option but a longer drive.

Not the way most people would do it but you can get the coach from Dublin to London Victoria Coach Station and then the bus down to Pompey.

Fly to Gatwick, train to Portsmouth. Train only cousts £6 if you book early enough.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Dublin to Bournemouth with Ryanair although the flights may not be daily.
