Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I applied and registered with them in February but still haven't received a call for roles? Does anyone know how long it takes?

    I'd imagine that all productions have been postponed at the moment so you could be waiting a while. I was with them about 11/12 years ago and was on their books for a few months before I got called for something but once I put that one experience onto my Movie Extras profile, I got called for lots more stuff. If you get called for something like Fair City once, it is likely you will be called semi-regularly for that which is good. The films and other tv series are obviously more exciting but as far as I remember the waiting area for FC was much more comfortable than anywhere else, you could go to RTE canteen for your lunch and you were always finished at a reasonable time. Hopefully you will get a call when productions get back on track.
