GNR love axels voice and they just have more stand out tunes than ultravox imo

The Cure - I loved the cure back in the 80s and I love them still.
Guns'N'Roses - no disputing how brilliant they were back then.

Voting for The Cure; as much as I love Fleetwood Mac, their best hits were in the 70's. Whereas The Cure are quintessentially 80's.

The Cure I love Fleetwood Mac but just feel The Cure has more of an 80's feel about them.

Ultravox Vienna......for that alone. Even still on my playlist all these years later.

The 80s were before my time musically but I'd definitely lean towards guns n roses and the cure.

Both have songs I still listen to that stand the test of time

I think DD could be in trouble here as I remember well the musical cretins from 80's secondary school and their fascination with Talking Heads that they couldn't understand.

Duran Duran they had the look and the sound. Also Hungry like The Wolf.

Prince - great guitarist and singer, and had more songs I enjoy than The Clash.

Talking Heads - never been mad about Duran Duran, I think Talking Heads were more innovative and interesting.
