No Public Service Card. Payment tomorrow

    Hey guys. I've been on JB for a few months and have been using the temporary yellow paper public service card with my ppsn on it to pick up my payment. I bring ID aswell.

    The date on the paper is now out of date since the 30/04/2020. I'm due to collect payment tomorrow in the post office.

    Do you think if I just bring my ID and have my ppsn they'll be okay giving me my payment?

    Strictly speaking you should go to social welfare office and get a renewed yellow card. Even if the Post Office help you out for a week or two, you'll have to get a new one at some stage. Just check opening times of your local office, as they are reduced.

    You cannot go to their office. You need to phone them first and they will advise you. They will likely post it to you.

    The office is out of my way so I'll just go down to the post office today and explain and see if they can give me my payment, I'm sure they will for this week if I have my ppsn and passport anyway, hopefully!
