    Hi,

I've gone from always building my own systems, to a gaming laptop, and now I'm set on going back to a pre-built system for mid-core gaming. I know all the benefits to building yourself, but tbh I can't be arsed, mainly because I've lost touch with all the latest thinking on specs etc.

I've been looking around a few different suppliers, and spec'd the following from PCSpecialist for €1500, who I bought from before (with no issues). Any comments on the spec - anything stupid or overly old?. I play mainly MMOs, Dark Souls type RPGs and rarely first person. Nothing competitive.

My current laptop while going well is getting a bit long in the tooth, so I want an upgrade that'll last a few years. A big attraction for me is recently getting a new 144hz monitor, and seeing how smoothly everything runs, I'd like to maintain that if possible. The laptop can barely do it, and sounds like it's about to take off when it does!.

    Thanks in advance!

get a board with the B550 chipset for Zen 3 compatibility, boards should start appearing soon as they have just been released
