Cheap Simple Rugged Smartphone

I need a new cheap and simple but durable smartphone for a person who has never used a smartphone before and is liable to break it. Their eyesight is not great and they will likely drop it from time to time. Android preferably. Any ideas?

Perhaps the Doogee s68 Pro?
They are around €200~ish. They seem very rugged, reasonably well specced, pretty good battery.
They won't win any beauty prizes and are about twice the thickness of a normal phone so twice as heavy also.
