Technika LED 32-248i TV - repurpose 32" screen?

    Hi all,

    I have a technika LED 32-248i TV that over time stopped working properly - when the remote was used to power on the screen it would sometimes stay in standby, (sometimes for up to 30 mins) before coming on.

    It was a well known issue with either the power PCB board (LKP-SP017) or the winbond eeprom chip being faulty.

    I'm not interested in getting used replacement boards for it, so it will be dismantled with some components salvaged and the rest going for recycling.

    I'm 100% sure the Samsung screen (http://www.panelook.com/LTA320HN02_Samsung_31.5_LCM_overview_16519.html a LTA320HN02), tcon board and led driver board are all working perfectly.

    Can these items be salvaged and reused with different power supply and main boards - or could i even repurpose it as a PC monitor?

    It just seems a waste to send these to recycling if I could repurpose and recycle it myself for my own use
