    Nice looking blade,Boker??
Should be,as it isn't a "flick knife" and doesn't have any buttons, switches or levers to activate the blade release in the handle,.Not a push dagger either,or disguised as some innocent object, nor does the handle split in two to operate by gravity or centrifugal force.
Thumb studs are ok here, and there is nothing in the act that covers "assisted opening knives"as they were never heard of when the act was written back then.

USE YOUR OWN DISCRETION here, but it should be good to go IMO,which means nothing legally,so dont take it as gospel.;)

I agree, it's not automatic, the flick reg is target automatic knives. I don't think you could flick it out without touching the blade, thus not gravity or C.frugal force.

A thumbstud is fine in itself. The only risk is that somebody would see this kind of action and call it a flick. (technically the thumbstud is a pressure on a "lever", but it not on the handle)

I’ve a Benchmade 940 which has a stud and had no issue with it.
