Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi ,
I’m a complete DIY novice so need some advice on what materials I need to build a fence similar to the one in the pic attached.

I want to attach it to the existing concrete posts that is currently holding up a boundary fence out the back.

It’s a small area roughly 10 x 13 feet and l want to go about 7 foot high to add a bit of privacy to a patio area.

So what size and type of timber do l need?
Approximately how much would I need?
What screws are best to attach wood to concrete post?

    Thanks for your help

7 feet IIRC, will require planning...
    What centres are the posts
what is there at the mo, pls post a picture
    How many sides? 10 + 13 + ?

Are you engaging with your neighbour?

I would go with decking boards, 16 feet long, fixed horizontally on the face of the posts, with intermediate 75 mm sq bracing timbers fitted vertically like in the two pictures
