Keep my wife happy with a new laptop!!

Guys, the missus is looking for a good decent laptop or similar (tablet, Ipad etc) . She currently uses an 8" tablet and her biggest problem is the screen size. I had a look at this model and it seems to tick a lot of boxes but I'll list the requirements below and any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I know very little about these things.

Budget would be up to about €450.

Uses would be mostly general web browsing with emphasis on Youtube videos, Facebook, Gmail, online banking, music, card playing etc.

Lightweight and preferably touch screen but not a deal breaker.

Screen size: 11" - 13"

From using a desktop PC myself I would never buy anything with less than 8Gb memory and the next PC I get would have a SSD but Im not sure if all of that would be applicable to a laptop, tablet etc as they are different animals. I know nothing about processor speeds or graphics etc so I'll rely heavily on suggestions here.

14 but narrow bezels so same as 13 inch of old

lightweight at 1.5kg

decent cpu and ssd.

actually apparently has 2 rams slots so would only need this. no harm in adding extra 8gb though

I picked one up myself when it was released. It's a great little thing altogether, although I did go for the top model, without the mobile data.

another option and will be very well priced at 300 euro or not much more. will be supported for 6/7 years.
chrome but will also run all android apps. gets great reviews.
but I'd favour the laptop over this or surface go personally.

That looks good. I'll get a chance later to have a detailed look at it but a lot of the stuff might go over my head.

Do you mean that more memory can added? Couple of quick questions on that point. Is it easy enough to add memory? I done it with a desktop but laptops are a little tighter. Any risks involved with invalidating the warranty by opening it? Would it run well enough on the 4gb?

Looks like something that could suit but I had a very quick look at the reviews and keyboard appears to be small and I think it doesnt have an audio jack which would be essential I think. Need to check with herself on that point.

My knowledge is a bit out of date but do you not need to be aware of grounding and static?

no. very little danger of that. that was always over-rated really.
