For the first few seasons Dexter, he was brilliant, acted so well, so many sides to him. I have tried to burn the final few seasons out of my soul and I pretend it all ended differently. He really was brill.

So once again the inclination is to lean to Dexter. And I will be voting that way.

There are a lot of procedural cop shows with characters such as Mick Belker.

However there is only one Dexter, which was unique and exciting at the time. The first 4 seasons, 1, 2 and 4 in particular were gripping television with Dexter at the forefront of everything.

And for that reason, Dexter gets my vote to advance to Round 3.

4-3 the scoreline.

Only voting when I've seen both programmes, but that makes it difficult because I generally like both. Think I'll have to go for Shelby as he's a more developed character in such a short run of episodes.
