Yeah Cumberbatch's Sherlock was so watchable, it's a tough round this one. The show ended up near driving me insane though. IMO, serious drop-off in quality after the first season.

Réally that's interesting, I thought (even though) I wasn't a fan of Moriarty over acting at first watch the 2nd season with him were very good.

From memory so probably wrong each season did have at least one stand out episode

I like elementary but I couldn't agree less, it's super americanised, I was a big fan of story lines though that kept relevant with science breakthroughs in the real world though,

Yeah I'm working from memory too, it could be seasons 3 and 4 that I felt dropped-off. Haha yeah there was some over-acting with Moriarty, but I thought the writing did him a disservice later on.

i just think he is a phenomenal character played phenomenally well, i love him!
