Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    90s Gillian Anderson ftw.

He might no have been in the comp
But do to his legendariness and how he inspired so many parodies etc it has to be Columbo for me
His name will keep ringing out unlike the likes of Mal Reynolds :P who will barely rate a footnote in the history books

I'm already making a shortlist for who I'd nominate for Hottest TV Character... might have to do a lot of research, so may as well get a head start...
Faith from Buffy would be a contender. Drusilla as well.
Let's not forget Aeryn from Farscape and Xena WP too.

    :D

So did Reno Raines (played by Lorenzo Lamas) in Renegade (It was a show about a cop who was good at his job - he used to be a police officer - who was framed and he passed the time by playing a partner to a private detective. Just like the A Team he was on the run from the filth. Show was from the nineties or thereabouts).

Sure he was pretty and could kick ass but he wasn't in Columbo's league, nor was your lad :p. Doubt he was nominated for many emmies during the show either.

This be a thread for the best and not the fittest characters :pac:

Quarter Finals are going to be most votes wins, no quotas to reach.

The time limit for the QFs will stay at 45 mins per match. Most votes (with valid reasoning) in that time frame will advance to the semifinals.

In the event of a tie I will cast the deciding vote in the QFs. That will change a little in the Semis and the Grand Final, but as is for now.

A reminder of the quarter finalists:

    John Locke (LOST)
Buffy Summers (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
    Tony Soprano - The Sopranos
Superintendent Ted Hastings - Line Of Duty
    Walter White (Breaking Bad)
Arthur Mitchell aka The Trinity Killer - Dexter
    Christopher Moltisanti - The Sopranos
    Vic Mackey - The Shield

    Match 1

An unconventional battle first up with our last female standing taking on the ultimate survivalist. A place in the semi-finals awaits the victor...

    John Locke (LOST)

    VS

Buffy Summers (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)

Most votes in 45 mins will advance to the semi-finals....

    AND....

    FIGHT!!

John Locke. A million times John Locke! Because he's a fantastic character and his opponent ... isn't.

Buffy Summers - while both shows and characters hold a special place in my heart, the Buffy-verse was one of my first TV obsessions. I used to buy all the magazines and related media, as well as having the entire Buffy ans Angel series' on both VHS and DVD. Can't count the amount of times I've re-watched the whole lot.

Buffy - a tonne of fond memories.

John Locke - got this fair on merit presumably. Buffy more eye candy

Here look, apologies, I overreacted a bit there. A couple of people had made implications that the only reason a female character had made it this far in the competition was because of her looks, which annoyed me, but I know your comment was only in the spirit of banter.
