Hi there, been getting back to homebrewing a lot since we have been on lock down and I have a tin of coopers regular IPA that is out of date but I am sure it should be fine to brew. I dont fancy using the yeast however that comes with the tin. Can anybody suggest a strain of yeast i can try to get this going?

US-05 is always reliable, I find.

Noticed that after a few google search. Will give it a go. Thanks!

Your out of date tin may result in a darker colour than it was originally. Otherwise, I'd go ahead.

If you have US-05 at home, go for it. If not, you may find it hard to get these days. If you're stuck, I'd try to rehydrate and make a test from the original yeast. You'll soon know if it's usable.
