Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for a bit of advice.
I bought a house in February. The kitchen was converted from the original garage years ago. It’s warm enough when the heating is on, but cools very fast it has a 12 foot ceiling.
My question is which would be the best and cost effective way of insulating it. Unfortunately I’ve no access in the attic due to a block on flat wall between the original garage and the rest of the house
Do I put up insulated slab on the ceiling or cut access point and roll out a thick layer of earthwool and repair slab

I'd throw up insulated slab... if there are draughts coming I to kitchen , afron outside, that's where I'd start
