    Hey Guys,
I was hoping you could help me with an upgrade,
    it is a tightish budget,
I have 900 euro, could stretch further depending on the components,
but im looking to try stay at 900.

I play games, and looking to beef the computer up.

    current specs:
    motherboard: msi Z87-G43
    cpu: i7-4790 @ 3.6GHz
    ram: 16gb gskill ddr 2133mhz
    gpu: Nvidia gtx970
    PSU: corsair hx650w

I basically need all of these replaced, or some if possible.

like I said, I game, and if I can I want to be able to maintain 144fps for the 144mhz monitor. and something that will stand the test of time for about 2 or 3 years if possible.

and 32gb of Ram if we can squeeze that in.

this current set up has lasted a while.

    thank you for any help!!

    thanks for the help!
we can squeeze in an extra 16gb of ram and stretch the budget.

now what if we take the storage out, I have more than I need,
can we redistribute that cash to help increase fps somewhere?
    better gpu maybe?

You won't need 32Gb RAM for gaming.

Regarding upgrades from the above, while you could get a better CPU (Ryzen 7-3700X) or GPU (RX 5700XT) I'd rather save money for the replacements coming later in the year (Ryzen 4000 desktop & AMD RDNA2 / Nvidia 3000).

Maybe upgrade case to something like Phanteks P400A Digital & a better tower cooler.
