Garden Tap Connection

Hey Im just wondering what type of garden hose connection do I need to get for this type of outdoor tap. Not sure what you'd call it?

The one I have clips into it but doesnt stay properly connected so not sure what I should be looking for in the shop to make sure its a snug fit.

My thinking too. Get hozelock snap on connectors. Like these

Yep, frequently asked question. Existing connector needs to be unscrewed.
B&Q sell their own snap ons for peanuts.

Yes really.

Measure distance from tap to floor. Cut a piece of hose about 6 inch shorter. Attach your length of hose to the adapter that is already on the tap with a Jubilee clip as New Home suggested then put a standard male hose fitting on the end.

Then when you need to fill a watering can, bucket, sprayer etc you just put it on the ground and drop the hose into it, no holding heavy stuff under the tap.

I had one of these fitted recently out the back; https://www.screwfix.ie/p/outside-tap-with-double-check-valve-15mm-x/37241 and was trying to connect the hose to it for about 10 minutes, driving me nuts.

Then I realised you could unscrew the long connector. What a dope.
