Hard to believe that Mayo are still joint 3rd favourite for the AI @ 9/1. Tyrone @ 10/1 are good value IMO despite the tough games they'll have in Ulster

Tyrone again for back to back titles, definitely not Kerry, chokers of recent.

Armagh 4/6 (Boyles) at home to Fermanagh in the Nickey Rackard

Armagh are out of the competition and have had numerous players leave the camp after the National League campaign, but they are far above the standard of Fermanagh. If handicaps were being offered I'd probably see them at a -7 level, so really have to take the 4/6 price. Will try to find something to double it up with (very likely Roscommon to beat Tyrone)

Will Cork park the bus tomorrow?

40.5 is quite high but if Cork are their usual selves Kerry could bury them for goals.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,458 ✭✭✭Danick

Tipp + 5 won't come in - Limerick are far superior - take whatever minus Limerick the bookies offer that's close to 1/1 in the first half and it will sail home. I don't think I ever remember a Tipp team as weak as the current side and I've been following them since 1987.

Kildare +7 is very generous. It's 1/1 on Bet365. I'd go as far as to say I can see this being a draw.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,435 ✭✭✭Scoundrel

Westmeath -3 at evens is jumping out to me Laois are absolutely horrible.

  • Registered Users Posts: 323 ✭✭Capt. Autumn

Absolutely. From the Laois camp, wholesale changes since the last disastrous day out against Wicklow but not going to be enough to stop a good batin'. Get on this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 323 ✭✭Capt. Autumn

    Donegal/Derry

More than 32.5 points practically evens on Boyles This Derry team play open football and on a perfect day, weatherwise for scores, this represents real value.

Absolutely sickened they won by 3 the full back being sent off after 19 minutes killed it they'd have walked it otherwise.

2 that jump out at me this weekend are Clare are way overpriced at 11/8 at home to a poor Meath team and Kerry are way overpriced at 7/2 in Joe McDonagh cup final two singles and a small double methinks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,481 ✭✭✭JustJoe7240

Quote function won't work so referring to Jennings bets above:

How this man has made a career out of something he's inherently bad at is a talent in itself

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,535 ✭✭✭dobman88

I fancy Clare too. I've got them in my bet for the weekend. Wouldn't be so sure Kerry represent any value tbh. Would expect Antrim to win with a bit to spare

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,535 ✭✭✭dobman88

Yeah, I've had to block the person who posts his "tips". Man is a borderline con man. I mean Jennings, not the person posting here.

As we are on the subject, would it be better to post stuff like that in a log of some sort or a thread of it's own instead of in here? Maybe not but just an idea.

Not that you give a shìte but you're unlocked again lol

  • Registered Users Posts: 94 ✭✭Bitconfused

Ive followed some posts in here on and off for a while now and decided I might as well contribute with some bets I fancy although over the last couple of weeks ive hit a bit of a wall. Also the user who tracks djs rp bets thanks , its good to see that play out, although I hate seeing myself with the same selection as him, it's like a jinx.

On Dj , surely the rp should have someone else with that column at this stage. Some very bad selections that a person with a minor interest in football wouldn't even make.

Had Clare +1 today but totally misread the louth game backing over 15.5 louth points.

Backed Leitrim earlier in the week at evens with boyles. Toying with the idea of Cavan -3 but that has shortened with pp.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,535 ✭✭✭dobman88

This was a decent shout on Kerry tbf. I only caught the 2nd half and thought they would do it at one stage. Nice shout, very unlucky.

That price on Clare was a gift too. Meath are shìte

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,435 ✭✭✭Scoundrel

Yeah I thought I was on for a right good weekend at one point during the Kerry game happy with the Clare result though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 94 ✭✭Bitconfused

Pp have their handicaps out. I would have made Roscommon 3/4 point favs. -2 seems a bit generous to Clare? They have been wasteful in previous games and scraped by meath who are very poor
