Immersion Boost Switch??

Hi,

Am looking for an immersion switch that has a boost button for the bath/sink water. Any advice?

Yes, I used a 2 channel digital time clock designed for use with a gas boiler for this. As it was not designed / rated for the larger loading of an immersion I wired it to switch 2 contactors which in turn switched the immersion. This gave me various boost functions and a 7 day timer.

It's good if you only want a boost and not wanting a timer. I put it in series with the original bath/sink switch and just leave the on/off switch in the on position and control it with the boost button to choose whether I want it on for 15 minute, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours.

I've fitted a TimeGuard boost switch along with a sink/bath switch
The sink/bath switch is fed from the boost switch
The sink/bath switch stays switched ON permanently
I only press boost and ocassioly switch from sink to bath
