    Hi folks bit torn between whether to go for cloud storage or external hard drive,

    With some people saying a hard drive can stop malfunctioning u should do both etc

    I’m also not really sure at this stage what I might need but definitely would need 1 Tb

    What’s ur opinions and recommendations on this,

    Thanks

    I'd consider both.

    Any important data I'd back up twice.

    There's a few free ones, don't Google give you 15gb?

    Thats a lot of data.

    Do you know how much you have to store?

    Consider:
    O365 subscription = 1TB One Drive + Office apps on 5 PC's
    G Suite = 1TB Drive + whatever.
    Dropbox = 2TB

    other options potentially available....

    Edit: if 5+ users on G suite - storage is unlimited!....

    I would use two HDDs for two backup sets, and store them separately.

    But then I dislike trusting my files to someone else!
