Graphics card enclosure setups

I have a Dell XPS13 - 9370. Has USB3 thunderbolt so could take an egpu. Anyone know anything about these? I don't want to spend a fortune. Just something that will play some of the more recent games.

you typically have to buy the egpu and gpu seperately.

as the egpu itself costs minimum €350 and €150 for even a basic gpu it's not cheap

maybe look to pick up one 2nd-hand

also you don't get 100% of the the gpu power and it's more efficient to run an external monitor than the laptop screen

Hmm, may be I'd be better off forking out for a reasonable basic gaming desktop. What would 800 odd get me?

it's not top end but will easily run all current games
