AIB Debit Card

    My debit card expired at the end of May and a new one has not been sent out. Has there been a delay due to covid issues?

    In theory new card scheme (Visa/Mastercard etc) mandate that cards don't expiry, so it should be able to use in stores and online, assuming the merchant POS device is correctly updated.

    But AIB are still sending out cards, so you should immeadiatlly check your account online and monitor transactions. You can also "suspend" your card if you want.

    Next step is to ring them and ask if a card was sent.
