    There's a laneway up to the Corpo depot on one side, and an Oxfam shop on the other side.


    Do you mean shopping arcade, amusement arcade, or something else?

    Hey , drawing a blank and having a brainfart but can anyone remember the name of the small arcade beside the VEC in Rathmines ?

    There was a games arcade there many a decade ago, think it's were manifesto pizza place is now.

    Sorry forgot to say it was years ago.. Jasons in Ranelagh was my arcade..but went to school in the VEC late 80's. So yeah 20 odd years ago(fuk actually nearer to 30!!)

    I'd say it's Banjo's you're thinking of. Many's the Sunday evening we spent in there playing pool "at evening mass" :D

    Was banjos not further down where Aldi is now, I seem to remember the arcade at the town hall being called Mario's?

    There was a place near St. Mary's College called "The Leisure Centre" or similar.

    Opposite Domino's Pizza.

    Pool tables, arcade games, jukebox, etc.

    Funny how memory can play tricks like that! I have no memory of Mario's at all......

    I used to go down there to play super shot soccer, banana shots and all that :) then up to Goodfellas (Richie's) and play mortal Kombat. Then gradually all the games were replaced with poker machines and that was the end of that.
