I wish to set up a webcam to stream live on my facebook page but the webcam will be in a high position away from my pc, is there any way I can set it wireless or what are my options?

Sure, there's plenty of webcam that will stream to the computer over the WiFi.
But will you have power to it where it will sit?

With a long extension , it can be powered.

Maybe something like Logitech Broadcaster Wi-Fi Webcam would be of interest

Could you use something like DroidCam? Use your phone as the camera and connect it to pc over wifi. I use it a lot and find it works pretty good. It's an Android app but I'm sure there's an Apple version (if you need that)

You might consider using an IP camera for the purpose.
Lots of options to choose from with prices from ~€25 up.
    Most are wifi enabled.
