Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Secure vertical treated battens to wall with concrete screws / express nails / plug and screw. Nail / screw trellis to battens.

Batten spacing and size of fixings will depend on the dimensions of the trellis panels.

If you are planning on training large shrubs or roses up the trellis, be sure that the wall can take the added wind load. I've seen a couple of garden walls knocked this way.
On exposed walls I've put plugs into the battens and fixed the trellis using smooth masonry nails. The idea being the nails will pull loose before the trellis brings the wall with it.
