Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've used an iron and tablecloth (google it) to lift those "white" fog stains from wooden tables, but not sure that applies here. Could be worth a punt.

Wife put a hot pot straight down on the wood.... I reckon she burnt right thrust all the protective varnish etc.

I'd say its a sanding and a staining of the whole table to get it to a reasonable finish unless you want to try a localised repair.

Look on the bright side you get to change the colour of the table if you wish!

Is that a veneer finish? Careful sanding! You'll sand through to the MDF pretty quick if it is.
